Barliq: disposable intensity, in a refillable bottle

Barliq is Zeus Juice’s bar salt range — built to replicate the punchy, high impact taste of single use vapes in a 10ml TPD bottle you refill yourself. The formula is double concentrated, which is the entire point of it: standard nic salts often taste flat to anyone coming off disposables, and Barliq is Zeus’s answer to that.

It’s a 50/50 VG/PG blend in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg. That 5mg is unusual — most bar-style ranges stop at 10mg — and it’s what makes this range work for people stepping down rather than only for people switching across.

What “double concentrated” actually means for you

Barliq carries roughly twice the flavour concentrate of a standard nic salt. Two things follow from that, and only one of them is in the marketing.

The good one: it tastes much closer to a disposable. If you’ve moved to a refillable kit and found the liquid underwhelming next to the bar you were using, this is the range that fixes it.

The one nobody mentions: heavier concentrate loads gunk a coil faster. Expect to change coils more often on Barliq than on a lighter juice. That’s normal for any high-concentrate liquid rather than a fault, but it’s worth buying coils in multipacks and factoring it into what the range actually costs you to run.

All 30 flavours, and which ones are iced

Two of these are cooled and don’t say so on the bottle. Pineapple and Pink Lemonade both carry ice. If you don’t want a chill, those are the two that catch people out.

Picking between the close ones

A few of these sit near each other, so if you’re ordering blind:

• Pineapple Grapefruit vs Pineapple Grapefruit Sparkling Water —
  same fruit pairing. The Sparkling Water version adds a light fizzy lift rather than
  changing the fruit. Pick one, not both.
• Four strawberries. Strawberry Burst is the plain sweet one,
  Strawberry Plum is the deepest, Strawberry Kiwi the tartest, Strawberry Cherry Razz
  the most layered.
• Four pineapples. Only one is simply called Pineapple, and it’s
  the iced one. Sour Pineapple Tangerine and the two Grapefruit blends are not
  cooled.
• Sour Orange Lemon vs Lemon & Lime vs Lemon Sherbet. Sour
  Orange Lemon is the sharpest, Lemon & Lime the most straightforward, Lemon
  Sherbet the sweetest.

Which strength should you buy?

20mg if you’re coming straight off disposables — most bars are 20mg, so it matches what you’re used to.

10mg if 20mg feels harsh, or if you vape steadily through the day rather than in bursts.

Which devices work with Barliq?

Any refillable MTL pod kit running 10W to 20W on a coil between 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω — the Vaporesso Xros range, Uwell Caliburn, OXVA Xlim, Aspire Minican and similar.

Fill the pod, then leave it a good five minutes before the first draw. Barliq’s concentrate load makes a dry first pull particularly punishing — you’ll taste it for the rest of that coil’s life.

Don’t run 20mg nic salt through a sub-ohm tank.

Already duty-stamp ready

Zeus has already moved Barliq onto packaging designed for the Vaping Products Duty stamps required from 1 October 2026, ahead of most of the market. In practice that means no supply gap on this range when the deadline lands, which isn’t something you can say about every brand right now.

The duty adds £2.20 per 10ml plus VAT — roughly £2.64 a bottle — charged on volume regardless of nicotine strength. Because it’s volume-based, a 10ml refill stays significantly cheaper per millilitre than disposables or prefilled pods, which is the argument for a refillable bar salt in the first place.
