1. Why We Verify Your Age

All products sold by Totally Vapour Ltd — including e-cigarettes, vaping devices, e-liquids, and any product intended to deliver nicotine — are restricted by law to persons aged 18 or over.

We take this responsibility seriously. Age verification is carried out on every order, whether you are purchasing as a registered account holder or as a guest at checkout. We use Agechecked, an industry-standard UK age verification service, to carry out these checks quickly, accurately, and securely.

2. How Age Verification Works

When you place an order with us, you will be asked to provide the following information:

• Your full registered name
• Your billing address
• Your date of birth

This information is checked against UK electoral roll data and other identity records held by Agechecked. Please ensure the details you enter match those on your driving licence, passport, or credit card exactly — including any recent changes of name or address.

Important: This is an identity check only, not a credit check. Your credit score will not be affected in any way.

3. If Verification Cannot Be Completed

In some circumstances, Agechecked may be unable to automatically verify your age — for example, if you have recently moved address, changed your name, or your details are not yet on the electoral roll.

In these cases, we may ask you to provide an alternative form of ID, which may include:

• Mobile phone number verification
• UK Driving Licence
• Passport
• A credit or debit card linked to your billing address

If we are unable to verify your age through any of these methods, we will contact you by email and your order will be placed on hold. We regret that we cannot fulfil any order where age verification cannot be confirmed, as we are required by law to do so.

5. Guest Checkout

If you place an order as a guest (without creating an account), you will still be required to complete age verification at checkout. However, as no account is created, you may need to complete verification again on any future guest orders.

We recommend creating a Totally Vapour account to avoid repeated verification and for a faster checkout experience.

6. Proxy Purchasing

It is a criminal offence under UK law for any person to purchase nicotine products on behalf of someone under the age of 18 (proxy purchasing). By placing an order with us, you confirm that:

• You are aged 18 or over
• You are purchasing for your own use or for another adult aged 18 or over
• You are not purchasing on behalf of a person under the age of 18

We reserve the right to cancel any order and report suspected proxy purchasing to the relevant authorities.

7. Refusal of Sale

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

• Age verification cannot be completed
• We have reasonable grounds to suspect the purchaser is under 18
• We suspect proxy purchasing is taking place
• False or misleading information has been provided during the verification process
