The Vaporesso GTX Dual Mesh Coils represent the biggest upgrade the GTX platform has seen since launch. Rather than the single mesh layer found in standard GTX coils, the Dual Mesh version uses two overlapping layers of mesh, increasing the total heating surface area by up to 40%. The result is more even e-liquid vaporisation, richer flavour reproduction, and a noticeably denser cloud on every draw.

This isn’t a minor refresh — it’s a genuine technical step forward. Standard mesh coils heat e-liquid from a single flat surface, which can lead to uneven vaporisation, especially at higher wattages. By layering a second mesh element directly behind the first, the GTX Dual Mesh coil heats e-liquid from a larger combined surface, drawing more liquid through more evenly and converting it to vapour more efficiently. For vapers chasing the fullest possible flavour and the densest clouds, this is currently the most advanced coil in the GTX range.

Each coil also benefits from Vaporesso’s antibacterial cotton wicking, which holds e-liquid consistently and helps extend coil life — meaning less frequent replacement and more consistent flavour right through to the end of the coil’s lifespan.

Choosing the Right Resistance:

Not sure which to choose? If your device or tank specifies a wattage range, match the coil to that range first. If you’re after the biggest possible clouds, go lower (0.15Ω). If you want a more controlled, flavour forward RDTL draw, the 0.3Ω is the better choice.

How to Replace Your GTX Dual Mesh Coil

1. Remove the old pod or tank from your device and empty any remaining e-liquid
2. Pull out the old coil — GTX coils use a simple press-fit design, no unscrewing required
3. Insert the new coil — push the new GTX Dual Mesh coil firmly into place until it clicks
4. Refill with e-liquid — fill via the top-fill port, avoiding the central airflow channel
5. Prime the coil — leave for 5–10 minutes before vaping to let the e-liquid fully saturate the dual mesh layers
6. Start at a lower wattage — take your first few puffs at the lower end of the coil’s wattage range
7. Build up gradually — increase to your preferred wattage once the coil is fully primed

Priming matters more with Dual Mesh coils. Because there’s more mesh surface area to saturate, skipping the prime step is the most common cause of an early dry hit. Take the extra few minutes — it makes a real difference to coil life and flavour.
